She was heavily inspired by antique decorative hatpins for larger hats and used the highest quality beads and materials. This is a sturdy pin and will hold your hat securely. I've had it tucked away in my storage. To my recollection I've never used or worn it. Some patina has accumulated on the metal of the pin and it could benefit from being cleaned/polished. *If there is a penny in the photo, it is for size reference only and not included in the listing.
