VINTAGE NICKY BUTLER ? MODERNIST STERLING SILVER HAT STICK PIN SHIELD SHAPE PROTOTYPE? This pin is signed with conjoined initials “NB” in the exact way Nicky Butler signs his creations, but I can’t definitively attribute this piece to him. It’s not really NB’s current style, but the pin was sold to me as a very early prototype. The “stone” is actually plastic which is strange for a quality piece and so the seller believed that since this was a just a prototype NB used plastic cabs instead of genuine onyx. You decide. In any event it’s a wonderful Modernist hat or stick pin with a great shield shape that is quite eye-catching and would look outstanding on your lapel. HAPPY TO COMBINE SHIPPING
