Description

A beautiful antique, Art Nouveau lady's hat pin in the form of a lady showing her head and torso. She is holding something at her waist. The repousee work in this pin has produced high relief. The hat pin is signed on the reverse, "sterling" and there are hallmarks as well. Please see the photos. I do not know who the hallmaks identify. I am dating this hat pin to CA 1900-1915, and it's style is typical of the era. The hat pin is 7" long, and the head of the pin measures 1 1/8th" wide - side to side, and 3/4" tall.
